As a director and photographer,

I consider myself an artist. After completing my degree at Brooks Institute of Photography I went on to produce and direct multiple award-winning short films. In 2017, completed my first independent feature film, Out of the Wild.

Growing up in Wisconsin, with a short period spent in Carmel, CA, I attended Nicolet High School in Milwaukee. Then pursued my education at UWM, majoring in film and film studies. After two years, transferred to Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California, where my primary focus shifted to photography while still taking various film classes offered at the time. It was during his time at Brooks that I had the honor of working alongside legendary photographer Neil Barr. Creating a documentary about his life. Throughout my career, I have worked in various mediums and projects, eventually leading to directing films.

In 2011, I directed a short film titled "The Story of Us," which won the Best Short Film category at the 2011 Charleston International Film Festival. In 2018, I directed and produced a feature-length film titled "Out Of The Wild," which starred John Diehl and Jean Louisa Kelly.

From childhood, I have always been passionate about film, when I would play around with my mom's video-8 camcorder and film my G.I. Joe's. Eagerly visit the local Marcus movie theater every Friday night, excited to catch the newest film. Renting the maximum of 5 VHS tapes at Blockbuster, binging them throughout the night, only to re-watch again in the morning. Film has had a profound influence on my life, serving as a driving force behind my aspiration to provide other kids with the same enchanting experience of immersing themselves in a film and temporarily escaping from reality.
